Jonathan Williams Honored with Humanitarian Award

The Beawnont Branch of the National Association of University Women, Inc (NAUW) is happy to announce that Jonathan Williams has been selected as its Martin Luther King Humanitarian Award recipient for 2025. The presentation will be made on Saturday, March 29, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at the NAUW Founders Day Celebration. We are excited and honored to have this distinguished gentleman and former BISD teacher as our recipient this year.

Mr. Williams is the CEO/Founder of Jonathan Williams Center for Performing Arts (JWCPA). He has been instrumental in bringing a new arts culture to Beaumont through the JWCPA, sponsoring numerous productions during the past ten years. Mr. Williams conducts yearly student production camps and has directed and produced such plays as Annie, Jungle Book, Mahalia, Scrooge, and Llon King, featuring numerous artists and comedians.
